Here is
a list of videos that I shot that aired on local
news TV stations. Video is either all my work, or a
combination of the stations videographers work.
Short list and nothing like my work in Milwaukee
market.
-
Fall 2003: Pedestrian vs. train, was a long
story on the news and I had the only footage of
the person being loaded into the medical
helicopter, CareFlite. Shot on my Sony
TRV-11 MiniDV, so it intermixed well with their
DVCAM footage. I was to be paid $50 for the
video, but to this day have not seen the check.
-
3/11/2009: House fire in
Grapevine fully involved in vacant house made
top opening story on first AM news cast. Was
aired all morning and at noon, but later was
filtered out do to newer stories through the
day. Note: the very last clip in front of the
house was the stations videographer's video, he
showed up after the fire was out.
See video (was also
simulcasts on Verizon Wireless VCast local
news).
-
3/31/2009: Video of a hail
storm in Southlake Town Center that was used
through out the day and part of a lead in to a
story about the alert system being out. The
video is also being used as a promotional video
for CBS 11tv weather service.
-
08/16/2010: Video from my
hail storm in Southlake Town Center used to
promote CBS 11tv news weather.
- Hopefully more to come.... Have shot about 3
incidents since 1/1/09, they are posted on my
Youtube channel.
As of 2012 my primary purpose is to provide videos
to the local Fire & Police departments. If it is a
type of situation that would call for selling the
video to a news agency it is secondary. I have shot
multiple videos in 2012 that have not been uploaded
to Youtube as they have been provided to the Fire
Marshal. If and when these videos are releases, they
may be uploaded to Youtube.
Videos available for Fire or Police agency.
