My Betamax Gear

Who cares about a dead format? Well few people like me do, I have a small but interesting Betamax collection. Below is a list of what I have.

Sony SL-2005/TT-2005: Betamax portable recorder with tuner. Works, plays and records OK. It has everything but the strap, this was bought at a local swap meet for less then $20. Only records/play in BII and BIII. The tuner on it has sure a hi RF gain I was getting TV signal with out an antenna. Too bad HDTV will take over in less then a month.

Sony EDV-55/VA-C55: This is a rare ED Beta dock with the VTR adaptor. The VTR will dock to the EDC-55 2CCD camera or EDP-10 Sports camera. The ED Beta format was Sonys way to fight S-VHS, but was only available for a few years as Beta was still losing the battle.
Sony EDP-10/CA-10F: This is a 2CCD camera that can dock to the EDV-55 VTR, it is the exact same camera  as the EDC-55 used with the EDV-55 ED CAM VTR. The only difference is the EDP-10 is white and was sold with the CA-10F VTR adaptor. This currently does not work, has bad capacitors, known issue. Working to get it repaired.
Zenith VR9000W1: Beta Video Cassette Tape Recorder. Non-working but part of Betamax history, has bad gears and rollers. Just a neat Beta to look at, maybe some day it will be in a museum.
Sony AC-220: NP1 battery charger with power supply.  This was bought in eBay for use with an EVW-300 to charge the NP1 batteries. This will work with the SL-2005 and was designed for it, was bought well before I got the SL-2005.
Sony AC-330C: Power supply to provide 14volts and 2amps. It is can be used as a charger.  This is another buy at local swap meet, always looking for stuff.
Hope to have more in the future, but this is all I got.
